Clinical Psychology Seattle Creating the life you want

Experience: Academic

Ever since I was in graduate school, I have been drawn to the excitement and challenge of participating in others’ growth, learning, and empowerment. Conducting psychotherapy is one way for me and teaching is another way. I was a psychology professor for over 14 years, and I love the energy and excitement of the classroom. Being involved in both teaching and psychotherapy combines the best of both worlds, and I have a deep appreciation for growth that occurs in these two environments.

Students have benefited because of the “real-life” clinical experience I can share. Clients benefit because I am used to continually learning and preparing, staying current with recent research and advances in the field, and I bring curiosity and the willingness to learn to the clinical hour.
